ONE OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS WILL BE RANDOMLY SELECTED FOR YOU BY THE TEACHER. BE SURE TO ANSWER THE ASSIGNED QUESTION AND ONLY THE ASSIGNED QUESTION.

  • Billy is 16 years old. He and his friends are enjoying an afternoon at the mall. They are checking out the latest fashions at Uniqlo when one of Billy’s friends suggest that they steal some cool clothes. Explain how each of the following apply to Billy in this situation:
    • nervous system
    • motivation
    • learning
    • personality
    • social psychology
  • The psychoanalytic, humanistic, trait, and socio-cognitive perspectives of personality each have their strengths and weaknesses. According to psychologists, what are the problems of each of these perspectives? In your opinion, which of these perspectives is the strongest? Why?
  • Psychologists use a variety of tests to investigate personality. Explain the difference between projective tests and personality inventories.
